About
wifibids.lol is a live auction for a real WiFi name. People already open that list a dozen times a day — apartments, coffee lines, sidewalks, the whole block. The highest bid puts your name there.
The twist
The highest bidder does not get a row on a leaderboard. They get the network name. When you take #1, that name goes on the air. Your brand, joke, or message sits in every nearby phone that opens Wi-Fi settings.
So far
- $5 paid to name the network
- Current live name: www.dailybelts.com

When the name changes
#1 is the name on the air. When someone takes the top spot, nearby phones see the new name in their Wi-Fi list. Lose #1 and your name leaves the air. It stays on the board until you raise or someone else climbs past it.
